Hi! My name is Kim.

 

Every one has a story. I will give you the shorter, unscripted version of mine.

I’m going to tell you how I can now eat more and still manage to weigh less. How calories mean nothing more than a reminder of how much I hate math. How I can waltz out of the house without any powder on my face and actually feel okay about showing the world my real skin. How I have energy and motivation to run my first Nike half marathon. But more importantly, I’m going to tell you how I can help you do the same.

So grab a seat, relax, and let me make you a green smoothie.

A green what?!

Here you go. Take a sip.

Yes, a smoothie that looks like the Hulk just threw up. Actually, it’s quite delicious. My husband, who has “B”acon blood type, drinks it with me daily. And he has no idea I sneak “Super foods” in there (remember to ask me about that later). It all started with the green smoothie.

You see, I partied like a rock star during college and graduate school. I was on the SAAD diet. That’s Standard Asian/American Diet food that consisted a lot of Pho noodles and 20-piece chicken nuggets. I didn’t really know what else existed besides RedBull vodka. I even thought Diet Coke was the best thing ever invented. With that came the typical “freshman 15” weight gain, dry skin, a love/hate relationship with food, and daily shouting matches with my scale. I was a walking cliche!

I was always tired. Always hungry. Always dieting. A self-declared professional at crash diets. A mastermind behind the creation of black outfits that cleverly hid all my bulges. If I wanted to lose a quick 5 pounds before a Vegas trip, I did it. It was easy back then. My 30’s came before I could even shout out, “30’s are the new 20’s”! All of a sudden the weight didn’t come off that easily anymore. Before I knew it, I reached my highest weight.

Then I figured it out…

My life took a turn for the better when I decided to focus on being healthy, rather than losing weight. One day I just picked up a book called Beauty Detox from Kimberly Snyder, made my first green smoothie and was immediately hooked. One green smoothie after another, I became this renewed, vibrant, and giddy person.

Coming from a science background with a Bachelor degree in Biology (UC San Diego) I was fascinated about how the body works. After experiencing firsthand the connection between plant-based foods and my energy, I was thirsty for more. There has to be more than what health magazines and doctors have been telling us. So I enrolled in the world’s largest nutrition school, Institute for Integrative Nutrition, to learn from the best teachers out there.

Since then I have been helping clients from across the US
learn the true connection between food and their body.

But you see, it’s not just about food. Other things feed our souls, such as relationships and career. Food just happens to make your body look good and feel good so you’ll be happy, alive, and inspired to create more magic around other aspects of your life. Shift happens and you’ll start to notice everything start to fall in place.
