Last Sunday my team and I hosted an amazing workshop (mini-retreat as I like to call it) in San Francisco. This has been a dream since I started coaching – to bring like-minded women together in person.

Women who have one mission: to better themselves. Eat better, feel better, get in the best shape of their lives…

and to receive support from other soulful women.

We realize that it can be a bit lonely, confusing, and even overwhelming to go on this journey to a healthier life!

But the truth it, it doesn’t have to be like that!

Our ladies shared some pretty powerful, deep experiences, while they learned how to overcome roadblocks with Heather, our transformative life coach. They shared many laughs during their intense workout with Tiffany, our movement specialist.

And of course it wouldn’t be a retreat without a nourishing breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dessert prepared from moi!

My menu was designed to nourish their cells, tickle their taste-buds, give them sustained energy for the workout, and jump start their weight loss goals.

They also left with a Pampered Goodies bag full of organic makeup, essential oils, soy candles, and a beautiful journal.

Yep, they sure got pampered!

We plan on making this a series of events in the near future. If you are in the local Bay Area and would like to be notified about the next one…just join my newsletter by entering your email below. I’ll be sure you’re the first to know!

The fun doesn’t stop there!

The ladies also continued to receive support through our 4-week Inspired Wellness program. (Which btw, is still open for enrollment. If you are interested in working with us, you can apply here.)

It’s a unique program like no other, with coaching support, fitness videos, and recipes to help you jump start your weight loss and wellness journey.

The ladies enjoyed the food and were surprised at how simple healthy food can be!

They especially loved the Tropical Cleanser Smoothie and Orange Chocolate Truffles.

Who can resist the combination of orange and dark chocolate?

And it’s healthy for you?!

Yes, please!

Recipes from our Wellness Workshop (Mini-Retreat)

Tropical Cleanser Green Smoothie

  • 1.5 cups coconut water
  • 2 cups spinach (about 2 handfuls)
  • 1 small orange
  • 1 peach
  • 1 small ripe mango
  • 1-2 tablespoon flax seed
  • Scoop of ice (if you prefer your smoothies cold)

Blend in a high-speed blender.

Orange Chocolate Truffles

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 3/4 cup dates
  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt or Himalayan salt
  • Coconut flakes for dusting

Place cashews in a food processor and blend until ground. Add in dates, cacao powder, sea salt, vanilla, orange zest.

Use your hands to roll into 1-inch balls. (It’s very therapeutic for me to roll these into balls!) Lightly cover each truffle with coconut flakes.

Keep in refrigerator in an airtight container.

Asian Sesame Chicken Coleslaw

  • 1 chicken breast, boiled and shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1-2 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • large handful of fresh cilantro, chopped

For the dressing:

  • 1/4 cup fresh lime or lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons diced shallot (or red onion)
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil, or to taste

Combine all of the dressing ingredients into a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth. Adjust flavors to taste.

Combine the salad ingredients in a large bowl, and toss well with the prepared dressing. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge before serving. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
