Why is pH important?
In the book The pH Miracle, Dr. Robert Young states that “The pH level of our internal fluids affect every cell in our bodies. The entire metabolic process depends on an alkaline environment. Chronic over acidity…is the ROOT OF ALL SICKNESS.”
It’s important to keep our blood in the its alkaline state, which keeps our body alkaline. This green concoction will heal you balance your body, which will help promote health, weight loss, beauty, and strengthen its ability to fight disease.
Celery is one of my favorite base vegetable to juice as it yields a lot of liquids while giving you important nutrients such as vitamin C, folic acid, B vitamins, calcium, and antioxidants.
Kale is a nutritional powerhouse, and is bulked up with vitamins A, C, K and antioxidants. Don’t throw the stalk away! They can be juiced too!
Fuji apples (or any other type of apples) will sweeten the drink and mask any “green” taste. Ginger and lemon are both amazing detoxifying ingredients, with amazing healing effects.
Recipe for Green Alkaline Juice
(1 24 oz serving)
- 4 stalks of celery
- 2-3 kale leaves and stalk
- 1 Fuji apple
- Half a lemon
- 1 inch ginger
Put the vegetables in your juicer and drink immediately to reap the most benefits.
